Serenity Mindfulness at the Serenity Centre offers a warm and welcoming environment for Adults and Children alike. Sessions are currently taking place online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Online sessions offers the opportunity and flexibility for more individuals to practice self-care than ever before.
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment including our thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations without judgement. Mindfulness can help reduce stress, anxiety, improves mood, relationships with others, our view of self and overall wellbeing. Sessions for adults and children are provided.
Serenity Mindfulness 8 week course takes place weekly with each session lasting 1 1/2 hours. The course focusses on self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-compassion to support our understanding of our experiences and the world around us.
The Serenity Mindfulness 4 week course is a more condensed version of the 8 week course and may be suitable for those individuals who cannot commit to the 8 week course or those who wish to gain an introduction to mindfulness.
Individual mindfulness sessions can be provided to individuals who would prefer a tailored mindfulness experienced or for those who are unable to attend the specified dates and times of the courses.
